EJECTION SEQUENCE – INTRODUCTION

Warren Spector’s commission to George Sanger (1990-06-22) reads, “The situation is hopeless. The player’s ship is shot to pieces. It’s time to get out. We’ve got an animated ejection sequence (complete with sound effects) in which the player rockets through the roof of his ship and tumbles freely through outer space (as seen from inside the pilot’s helmet). Start with some explosive music and change abruptly to a quiet, peaceful, vastness of space tune.
